The Blacksmith of Trenton is probably the oldest continually operational business in Mercer County, established 1823. The shop has barely changed in that time, and the blacksmiths use traditional techniques to fabricate and repair all kinds of metal for businesses and homes.

Daniel Lapidow, aka The Hebrew Hammer, will demonstrate traditional blacksmithing skills on a coal-fired forge all day. He will explain each step of a project, and you will watch as a simple piece of metal is transformed by heat and hammer!
