Interactive exhibit! The art of paper cutting, known around the world by different names such as Jianzhi, Kirigami, scherenschnitte and Wycinanki. In Mexico, it is known as Papel Picado, the art of using tissue paper and chisels to create banners to line the streets during the Day of the Dead festival.

Try your hand at this ancient art form with a project suitable for all ages! Noon to 4 pm in the Museum’s Imagination Studio.
