The African American Cultural Collaborative of Mercer County improves the quality of life for our community through arts, education, and culture. We provide opportunities for diverse families to come together in a positive, safe environment to build community through collaboration across cultures.
VOICES OF TRENTON presented by Todd Evans (Spoken Word/Poetry)
Much of Todd's work reflects on music and the ups and downs of urban street life and modern day situations. He has co-written two songs on the Imani Record Label. Mr. Evans is featured on the Imani Label album entitled Live All Over the Place. His work has also been heard on Eadon’s Place.Com. Mr. Evans has published a short novel entitled, Staggerlee Booker T. and Me by FavorTwoU Publications. Todd’s latest book is entitled Mojo.
Mr. Evans founded the Willingboro Open Mic and the Don Evans’ Players Theater Group in Willingboro, NJ. He founded the Heritage Cultural Book Fair, which is a traveling coalition of tri-state authors who sign and sell books collectively. He is the host for AACCOFMC Poetry Cafe Series, Classic ’s Book Store, Capitol Area Open Mic, and the Burlington County College Open Mic.
SO HYPE PRODUCTIONS by Timothy Diop Robinson (African Drumming Performance and DJ)
SoHype Productions- Is a music group that is dedicated to the education of the performer and communities at large. The group brings events, workshops and conferences that will stimulate the artist and introduce the community to the world.
